If you were a teenage girl and just performed in a dance competition, which would you rather get at the end of your performance – a sugar cookie bouquet that you could eat or flowers that you will eventually have to throw out? Personally, I would go for the sugar cookies! A friend of mine asked me to do a sugar cookie bouquet for her granddaughter who was performing in a dance competition. I thought it would be fun to do her granddaughter’s name (Amiyo) in addition to the flowers. And I used bright colors to match her personality.
A friend of mine recently asked me to do some sugar cookies for a meeting she was attending. She wanted to surprise everyone with a treat – so we decided to go with a spring theme. I was excited because a few days earlier I had been admiring the butterfly sugar cookies on sweetopia.com. Now, it was my turn to turn plain sugar cookies, into beautiful butterflies. I have to admit that as of right now, the butterfly sugar cookies are my favorite. What do you think? Now, we can’t forget about the flowers – after all, every sugar cookie butterfly needs a colorful flower.
